Letter of Congratulations from Minister
Today we received a letter from Minister for Education and Skills, Richard Bruton, TD to congratulate 1st Class on their performance in Word Mania this year. The letter reads:
Dear Alma,
I was delighted to hear of the great success of the 1st Class students in Balla National School in the recent Word Mania International Literacy Competition. Congratulations to all the students and to their teachers, Malachy Byrne and Paul de Lacy.
To come 6th in the world, seeing off some of the most prestigious schools worldwide is an incredible achievement.
