WHAT DOES INVICTUS MEAN?

Invictus, meaning “unconquerable” or “undefeated” in Latin, is a poem by William Ernest Henley.

The poem was written while Henley was in the hospital being treated for tuberculosis of the bone, also known as Pott's disease.
