Every year Balla National School is involved with various initiatives and enters into competitions in both the sporting and non-sporting arenas.

We also mark and celebrate the traditional feasts and festivals throughout the year.

Occasionally we have special visitors to the school.  Our most recent was Olympian and swimmer, Nicholas Quinn.
