National Council for Special Education (NCSE)
The NCSE is the state agency tasked with helping schools deliver the best education we can to pupils with special educational needs (SEN). They have published a series of leaflets aimed at supporting parents of children with SEN. Please click on the link below to see the available information.
Has your child experienced family separation or bereavement?
The Rainbows Ireland program, available in both Castlebar (Family Centre) and Claremorris (Curam), is a free service dedicated to supporting children who have been affected by loss due to parental separation or family bereavement. It is a twelve week program. Please click on the link below for more information. Alternatively arrange an appointment with the school principal to discuss your child's needs.
Dyslexia Association of Ireland
The Dyslexia Association of Ireland supports children and adults with dyslexia. Supports are also provided for parents of pupils with dyslexia and their schools. A list of information links is available one the Association's website which can be accessed by clicking below.
